The Assistant Development Manager has full responsibility for the effective, compliant, and efficient management of the buildings and developments within their portfolio. Acting as the lead on-site facilities management representative, the role is accountable for delivering a best-in-class building and facilities management service for residents, ensuring all assets are maintained safely, compliantly, and in a cost-effective manner.
The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing both planned and reactive maintenance, financial performance, contractor delivery, and statutory compliance across multiple developments. The Assistant Development Manager works collaboratively with the Estate Manager as a point of escalation while maintaining full ownership of day-to-day operational delivery.
