Permanent Nursery Educators – Crouch End
Department: Early Years
Pay: £25,985 to £28,794 per annum
Area: Crouch End
Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday + 1 hour break – Shifts: 8-4:30, 8:30-6)
Summary: Part of a group of Bilingual Nurseries, blending the Montessori and EYFS method.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting children in their play, planning for children and tracking development against the EYFS;
- Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the room and fulfilling the personal care needs of the children;
- Work within the regulatory requirements, policies and procedures;
- A commitment to working in partnership with parents;
- Experience of working with the EYFS and the ability to hit the ground running;
- A can-do and enthusiastic attitude;
- Experience of planning, observing and recording children’s achievements;
- Proven skills in positive behaviour management;
- Excellent spoken and written English.
Qualifications:
- A level 3 qualified candidate in childcare or above (Early years degree, QTS, PGCE, NNEB);
- Has experience working with children aged 6 months – 1.5 years old;
- Have strong EYFS knowledge and be able to implement in all activities;
- Have strong verbal and writing communication skills.
