Seeking ongoing temporary Childcare Educator roles, both qualified and unqualified with a minimum of 6 months experience needed in the Chertsey area in Surrey. Do you hold a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification or above or unqualified with at least 6 months experience working with young children from 6 months to reception age? Are you passionate about working in nurseries and the early years age groups?
Quint Education is one of the leading agencies in the childcare sector in London and some of the Home Counties and have been for over 10 years. We are looking for nursery assistants of all levels who are passionate about working in the nursery setting and happy to commute to different locations.
About the role:
- Assisting the nursery teams with providing a safe, clean & happy environment for children
- Working with 3 key age groups
- Participating in activities and engaging with the children
- Helping with meals and snacks
- Paying from £13 to £17 an hour depending on qualification & experience
Typical shift times can range from the hours 8.00am until 6.00pm but there are other shorter times that are required for those who cannot work the full day.
This role would suit:
- Someone with at least 6 months minimum experience
- College/University staff requiring occasional work during term time holidays
- Students that currently hold childcare qualifications (Cache level 2 or 3)
- College students that hold a level 2 or 3 in childcare or who have 6 months relevant work experience if they are not qualified
- Someone who is flexible and able to travel
- Someone with a genuine love and passion for working with children and in nurseries
- Someone who can work a few days a week
Candidates must:
- Hold a clean and valid DBS
- Be aged 17 upwards
- Have 5 years of continuous references from 2021 - 2026 (Any gaps should be explained)
- Be experienced in working in a fast-paced demanding environment
- Report incidents regarding the safety and wellbeing of the children
- Have knowledge of safeguarding and be prepared to do some training if offered
- Be based in the local area or prepared to travel
- Have at least a minimum of 6 months professional experience working with 0-4-year-olds
- Have knowledge and understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum
