We are looking for flexible Early Years Practitioners to work across nurseries in Basingstoke areas; South Ham, Brighton Hill, Kempshott, Buckskin, Beggarwood, Popley, Chineham, Sherborne St John. Supporting children aged 0–5 years. This role is perfect if you are looking for flexible shifts, a variety of settings, and competitive pay.
About the Role:
- Support children aged 0–5 in nursery settings
- Assist with daily routines, play, learning activities, and care
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Work alongside nursery teams to meet EYFS standards
Pay & Hours:
- £13 – £16.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
- Flexible hours – ideal for part-time or additional work
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of nursery experience within the UK (working with ages 0–5)
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 years as an early years practitioner
- Qualified (Level 2/Level 3) or above in Early Years Education
- Right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required (or a willingness to apply for one)
- We require a 5-year reference history; any gaps in employment must be explained
Certifications:
- Must hold (or be willing to complete) Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Level 2 Certificate
