We are looking for flexible Early Years Practitioners to work across nurseries in Basingstoke areas; South Ham, Brighton Hill, Kempshott, Buckskin, Beggarwood, Popley, Chineham, Sherborne St John. Supporting children aged 0–5 years. This role is perfect if you are looking for flexible shifts, a variety of settings, and competitive pay.

About the Role

  • Support children aged 0–5 in nursery settings
  • Assist with daily routines, play, learning activities, and care
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment

Pay & Hours

  • Β£15 – Β£17.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of nursery experience within the UK (working with ages 0–5)
  • Experience working with children aged 0–5 years
  • Open to qualified (Level 2/Level 3) and unqualified candidates
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required (or a willingness to apply for one)
  • We require a 5-year reference history; any gaps in employment must be explained
  • Must hold (or be willing to complete) Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Young People certificates
