We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for an ongoing construction project in Guildford, Surrey. Immediate start available, with consistent work available for the next 3 months, with potential for further opportunities.
About the Role
The Site Engineer will be responsible for:
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Carrying out levels, measurements and quality checks
- Supporting the Site Manager and construction team with engineering duties
Essential:
- Proven experience working on UK construction or civil engineering sites
- Experience with setting out, surveying and site measurements
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Good knowledge of construction methods and site procedures
- Experience working with site teams, subcontractors and project managers
- Thames Water Safety Passport desirable, but not essential
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Previous UK site experience
- References from previous employers/sites required
- Full PPE
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work in Guildford, Surrey for the next 3 months
