We are currently looking for an experienced Street Works Supervisor to start immediately on a long-term project in Hertford. This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong experience in street works and groundworks, who is confident leading a small gang while also working alongside the team on site.

About the Role:

  • Supervising a gang of 3-4 operatives on site
  • Ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Working alongside the team and assisting with daily site duties
  • Coordinating street works and maintaining site organisation
  • Monitoring health
  • Liaising with site management and other contractors
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Street Works Supervisor
  • Valid NRSWA Street Works Supervisor Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
  • CSCS Card
  • Strong knowledge of street works and groundworks
  • Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Full PPE
