We are currently looking for an experienced Street Works Supervisor to start immediately on a long-term project in Hertford. This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong experience in street works and groundworks, who is confident leading a small gang while also working alongside the team on site.
About the Role:
- Supervising a gang of 3-4 operatives on site
- Ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
- Working alongside the team and assisting with daily site duties
- Coordinating street works and maintaining site organisation
- Monitoring health
- Liaising with site management and other contractors
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Street Works Supervisor
- Valid NRSWA Street Works Supervisor Card
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
- CSCS Card
- Strong knowledge of street works and groundworks
- Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Full PPE
