About Us: The client is a rapidly growing financial services organisation expanding its mortgage offering and delivering new product propositions to market. As part of this strategy, several initiatives are currently underway including Product Transfer Phase 2, Seasonal Holiday Lets and Mixed Use and Semi Commercial mortgage propositions.
To support these initiatives, we are seeking a Delivery Lead / Project Manager to independently drive delivery across mortgage product changes and enhancements.
Role Overview: We are seeking a senior Delivery Lead or Project Manager with mortgage experience and strong delivery governance capability. The role will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent initiatives across the mortgage product portfolio and ensuring that delivery is executed effectively in line with the organisations change framework.
You will work across Product, Lending, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure that new mortgage products and enhancements are delivered efficiently and aligned with customer, operational and technical requirements. This role suits a structured and delivery focused professional who can maintain delivery pace while ensuring strong governance and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of multiple mortgage product initiatives in parallel, ensuring delivery objectives, timelines and scope are clearly defined.
- Manage delivery across initiatives including Product Transfer Phase 2, Seasonal Holiday Lets and Mixed Use and Semi Commercial mortgage propositions.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with the Chetwood Change Framework and established governance processes.
- Coordinate cross functional stakeholders across Product, Lending, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams.
- Provide clear delivery planning including scope definition, milestones, timelines and dependencies.
- Maintain oversight of risks, issues and dependencies and manage mitigation actions to maintain delivery momentum.
- Provide clear and consistent updates to senior stakeholders on delivery progress, risks and decisions required.
- Ensure operational readiness and alignment with internal processes before product releases.
- Facilitate cross functional workshops and working groups to support delivery planning and issue resolution.
- Ensure that delivery outcomes align with business objectives and customer requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 to 4 years experience working within mortgage related change or delivery roles.
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.
- Strong stakeholder management capability with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- Experience delivering change within financial services environments.
- Strong delivery governance and project management capability.
- Attention to detail with strong planning and coordination skills.
- Ability to drive delivery independently and maintain momentum across complex initiatives.
- Experience delivering core mortgage product enhancements or product launches.
