My client is looking for 2 Yard Operative/ Delivery Driver in Newchapel. These will initially be a 3 month contract with the possibility of permanent work for the right candidates. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday.

As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in a yard or outdoor storage area. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of the yard and ensuring that materials and equipment are organised and maintained efficiently.

Duties:

  • Organising and maintaining the yard area
  • Loading and unloading materials or equipment
  • Assisting with inventory management
  • Operating machinery or vehicles within the yard
  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the yard environment

Skills:

  • Ability to drive vehicles within the yard
  • Experience with commercial driving is advantageous
  • Knowledge of delivery driver responsibilities
  • Full clean driving licence with no more than 6 points, no CD, DD, or IN for insurance purposes

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
