Senior Commercial Estimator – Retail Display / POS £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + Bonus | Hybrid / Remote | Central London 1–3 days per week
A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Buyer / Estimator / Procurement specialist to join a growing, innovative business operating within the retail display, POP, Shopfitting sector.
This is a key commercial role, responsible for developing accurate, competitive and commercially focused estimates for complex retail display projects across metalwork, joinery, plastics and print.
The Senior Estimator role will involve
- Owning the estimating process from initial brief through to tender submission.
- Producing detailed, accurate and commercially competitive cost estimates.
- Working closely with commercial, sales, sourcing and production teams.
- Interpreting technical drawings, specifications and BOMs.
- Liaising with suppliers to validate costs, lead times and manufacturing feasibility.
- Identifying cost risks, opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
- Supporting tender and bid strategies with scenario-based costing and margin analysis.
- Ensuring a smooth handover from estimating into project delivery.
- Developing and improving estimating processes, tools and methodologies.
We're looking for someone with
- Proven estimating experience within retail display, POS, shopfitting, fixtures.
- Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes including metalwork, joinery, plastics and print.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience working with suppliers and production teams.
- Strong Excel and estimating/ERP system experience.
- The confidence to work closely with commercial and client-facing teams.
What's on offer?
Circa £60,000, depending on experience, alongside a strong benefits package including pension, private healthcare, life assurance, holiday allowance and bonus.
Working arrangement: Predominantly remote, with 1–3 days per week in the London office depending on business requirements.
