Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations of our new testing department.

The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating and conducting tests on a wide range of materials to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including scheduling, personnel, equipment maintenance and Quality of work
• Well organised
• Develop and implement testing procedures for a variety of materials
• Supervise lab technicians and ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently.
• Interpret test results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal teams and external clients.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company quality standards, and health & safety procedures.
• Calibrate and validate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, or quality control teams to support product development or quality assurance projects.
• Continuously improve lab processes to enhance testing efficiency and data integrity.
• Manage documentation, records, and certifications related to testing procedures and results
