While we haven’t been operating for very long, our network of composers and alumni are very important to us - our first priority is that your music receives the attention it deserves, and you keep the rights to your music. We are artist-friendly! If you want to join a group of talented individuals, all with a common goal, and receive the support that you need and deserve to get on to market, then you should definitely consider applying to become a Quinlan Music Composer.

Benefits

  • All composers receive a biography page and a store page, where you can tell your audience a little bit about you, and distribute the scores and recordings of your works.
  • You keep ALL the rights to your music, and we’ll help you manage them, including resolving copyright disputes, and other such matters.
  • You keep 70% of profit generated, which will be debited to your bank account monthly, quarterly or annually (depending on profit generated).
  • All composers are provided website hosting and development services at a significantly reduced cost, courtesy of QuinHub Network.
  • Sale of scores digitally (via PDFs).
  • Distribution of records to digital marketplaces (at additional charge).
  • All composers receive a branded @QuinlanMusic.com email address.

Conditions

  • All applicants must be aged 15+, and must not currently be in any contractual agreement with any record label or publishing organisation.
  • On successful admission as composer, you must sign an Exclusivity Agreement with Quinlan Music, stating that over the course of time that you are publishing / distributing with Quinlan Music, you will not sign with any other organisations, or become affiliated with them in any manner.
  • You must not have any self-signed or self-published content available for purchase or download anywhere (unless otherwise agreed by the Recruitment Department).
  • You must not have released any works (or their recordings) to any 'free' music streaming service (e.g. Soundcloud / YouTube). If you have, we may request you to take the product down if your application is successful.

Admission Process

  • Complete application form
  • Go through application / interview process - we are not able to release further details of this publicly, as we want to ensure that all candidates are given a fair and equal chance.
  • Receive response from Quinlan Music (Successful / Unsuccessful Application). You will receive a response from a member of the Recruitment or Operations Departments.
  • If accepted, we will request further details from you (including bank account information, address, composer avatar, social media links, website URL, biography, etc).
  • Start releasing content. We will provide you with an introduction pack on successful admission.
