We are a leading Retail Experience Consultancy. We work with product and service brands by transforming existing or designing new retail environments. We focus on creating face to face experiences that work effectively for the business, the brand, the customer and the staff.
Based in London, we work internationally for world-leading product and service brands including Comcast, EE and Fido. We are looking for an outstanding high-level mid-weight designer or an established senior designer seeking a fresh challenge and the opportunity to continue their growth within a new team.
The successful candidate will be a strong and creative design thinker who can conceptualize and craft appropriate design solutions in response to client challenges. You will be equally comfortable getting your hands dirty in the design delivery stages of the project.
The RoleAs a client-facing member of the team, you will be a clear and compelling communicator with the ability to understand the clients' situation and needs. Alongside contributing to project leadership, you will also be confident in supporting and managing individual team members, helping to guide projects collaboratively and effectively.
Sharing a leading role in projects, you will have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once and be comfortable managing meetings and calls with suppliers and clients. You will be comfortable in all three of Quinine’s key disciplines: Research, Strategy and Design, with a particular strength in Design. You must have experience in all design phases from concept through to delivery.
You will be able to work at a variety of scales, just as comfortable working on a store-wide aesthetic as you are detailing a store fixture. You will excel in design exploration, problem solving and idea creation. You will be comfortable working through design challenges independently and be confident in presenting back solutions that are thoughtful, robust and considered, to project teams.
A natural collaborator, alongside developing your own point of view, you will embrace other team members' opinions (from creative director to junior designer), always striving for the best solution to a problem. You will be used to creating inspiring concept documents and building up accurate, error-free, detailed design drawings. You will be expected to manage and organise all project files and assets.
