We are seeking a Head of Women\'s Apparel UK/EU to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for curating and managing the product catalog to meet and exceed UK and EU customer expectations, aligning with Quince\'s brand and pricing strategy.
The role influences sourcing strategy, sets prices, and is accountable for sales, margins, and returns.
Success means driving revenue growth, optimizing margins, and delivering a product assortment that resonates with the UK and EU market.
Responsibilities
- Drive a high-growth merchandising trajectory to meet ambitious revenue and profitability targets.
- Ensure the UK and EU product catalog meets and exceeds customer expectations.
- Influence and participate in sourcing strategy to ensure the assortment is locally relevant and margin-optimized.
- Set pricing aligned with Quince\'s Customer Value Proposition (CVP) and margin goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales, margin, and returns data to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver on business goals.
- Stay current with UK and EU market trends and evolving consumer preferences within the Women\'s apparel market.
- Manage product presentation and assortment planning to align with brand and market strategy.
Qualifications
Required
- +12 years of proven experience in merchandising, preferably in e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of the UK and EU retail market and consumer behavior.
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to interpret sales, margin, and financial data.
- Product obsessed with experience in leveraging both data and a critical eye to anticipate customer needs (both the “science” and “art” of retail merchandising).
- Demonstrated success in pricing strategy, margin management, and assortment optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking capabilities.
- Effective collaborator with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Independent, self-directed learner and executor with high ownership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in women\'s apparel merchandising and leveraging technology to build and scale merchandising strategies.
- Background in direct-to-consumer (DTC), retail, or e-commerce business models.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
