Marketing and Communications Lead (Maternity Cover)

Location: London

Contract: 8 month full time fixed term contract

The Role

Quinbrook is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Lead to provide maternity cover for an eight month fixed term contract.

This is a broad, hands-on role responsible for delivering marketing and communications activity across Quinbrook’s global business. Working closely with senior leadership and teams across the firm, the successful candidate will help manage external communications, content, media relations, events and brand activity.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who can quickly take ownership and work independently following a short handover. The role requires someone who is comfortable moving between advising senior stakeholders and delivering work directly, from drafting important communications to managing agencies and coordinating projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of Quinbrook’s 2027 marketing and communications plan.
  • Manage announcements, investor communications and external content.
  • Oversee media activity and external PR agency relationships.
  • Prepare briefing materials for interviews and speaking engagements.
  • Manage content across Quinbrook’s website, LinkedIn and other external channels.
  • Support the delivery of major events, conferences and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Maintain established relationships with key conference organisers, publications and sponsorship partners.
  • Act as custodian of the Quinbrook brand, ensuring consistency across external communications.
  • Ensure external communications are appropriate for a regulated financial-services environment and comply with relevant fund-marketing requirements.

This is an opportunity to take on a varied role within a fast-paced, growing and entrepreneurial organisation, with broad exposure across the business and direct engagement with senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications professional who can operate independently following a short handover. You will be comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and managing competing priorities across global time zones.

  • Broad experience across communications, content, brand, marketing, PR and events.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear and effective communications.
  • Strong project-management skills and a record of delivering complex events or campaigns.
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to work directly with senior executives.
  • Experience managing announcements, media activity and external PR agencies.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines and approval processes while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • A practical and collaborative approach, with a willingness to take ownership and contribute directly to delivery.

Experience within investment management, private markets, infrastructure or another regulated financial-services environment would be an advantage.
