Affluent encompasses the financial planning business, Quilter Financial Planning, the Quilter Investment Platform and Quilter Investors, the multi-asset investment solutions business.

High Net Worth includes the discretionary fund management business, Quilter Cheviot, together with Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning.

We are looking for a talented web / mobile developer to join our engineering organisation at Quilter to be part of the team working on our modern wealth management apps. You will join us at an exciting time as we continue to modernise our digital offerings, focusing on delivering exceptional user experiences for our clients and advisers.
- As a Subject Matter Expert, ensure that the applications that we develop are pixel perfect and give our customers a great user experience
- Implement responsive, high-quality Web and Mobile UX solutions using React, TypeScript, Next.js and Ionic
- Work closely with UX designers to translate wireframes into polished implementations
- Create and maintain component documentation using Storybook
- Build cross-platform features using Ionic framework
- Write clean, maintainable code following team standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain test coverage
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Work within agile teams, participating in all ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement
- Collaborate with 'backend' teams on API integration and implementation
- Act as subject matter expert for the UI / Mobile development within the Software Engineering Digital teams.

About You
- Solid experience of the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications for iOS and Android and Next.js applications
- Strong proficiency in React and Next.js
- Familiarity with hybrid/cross-platform development (Ionic)
- Experience with state management solutions (Context API)
- Understanding of version control using GitHub
- Experience with frontend testing practices (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience of troubleshooting and resolving issues related to mobile app deployment
- Knowledge of software architecture, patterns, engineering good practice

Other Highly Desirable, But Not Essential Skills
- Experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps
- Awareness of .NET development
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and YAML-based deployments
- Understanding of financial services applications
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and compliance
- Experience with component documentation using Storybook
