This new position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the implementation of Quilter’s talent strategy. The successful candidate will be part of a newly formed team, created specifically to deliver on this strategy. Reporting to the Talent Strategy Manager, you will collaborate with our culture, learning, and communications teams, as well as our dedicated business partnering community. Together, you will deliver exceptional talent management and development experiences, aligned with our people strategy and supporting the future capability needs of our organisation.

Above all, you’ll belong to a passionate group of people with big ambitions to make the biggest impact on the engagement and performance of our people as possible. You will support the design and delivery of Quilter’s talent management and development strategy across our organisation:

  • Talent Strategy Alignment: Assist in aligning the talent strategy with Quilter’s business goals.
  • Workforce Analysis: Support the design and delivery of a workforce analysis process to determine current and future talent needs, including assessing gaps in skills and capabilities.
  • Learning and Upskilling: Help design and deliver programmes of learning and upskilling in conjunction with the learning team to support Quilter’s talent pools in developing into areas identified as future skills gaps.
  • Talent Review Process: Assist in managing the regular talent review process across Quilter, ensuring a business-focused approach that considers stakeholder needs.
  • Data and Technology: Implement data and analytics initiatives to assess the effectiveness of talent management programmes and make data-driven decisions, utilising AI solutions where appropriate.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leadership, HR, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment, buy-in, and cohesive talent management practices that are fit for commercial needs.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and implement strategies to address them.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring smooth execution and adequate support for all parts of Quilter.
  • Curiosity: Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends related to talent, bringing new perspectives into our function.

About You

  • Proven experience in delivering talent management and development work, with a strong focus on business-aligned programmes with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to implement innovative talent management and development initiatives that drive results, aligned with commercial objectives and the broader people strategy.
  • Analytical skills to measure and evaluate the impact of talent activity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively connect with and influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A deep understanding of both HR and the broader business context from a talent perspective.
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles to achieve maximum impact.
  • Ability to pick up the financial services industry quickly and understand the economic dynamics of the wealth sector.
