About the Role

This role supports the delivery and implementation of a new adviser system across the organisation. It provides exposure across multiple stages of the project lifecycle, contributing to Finance Operations delivery activities such as user acceptance testing, control development, data migration and ensuring business readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new controls and reconciliations.
- Perform daily reconciliation of system integrations from source system to the General Ledger (AE to Workday).
- Develop a comprehensive daily and monthly timetable to ensure clear visibility and timely delivery of key outputs.
- Complete daily and month‑end balance sheet reconciliations and associated controls.
- Review and resolve receipts by reconciling bank statements to transactions within adviser systems.
- Validate migrated data and accounting outputs, ensuring alignment and documentation of any known issues.
- Support Business Readiness activities, including training for Business‑as‑Usual teams.
- Provide audit support across both legacy and new systems.
About You
- Part‑qualified accountant or demonstrable experience supporting finance change or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management and governance frameworks, with the ability to embed these into new processes.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, able to engage, influence and build effective relationships across Finance, IT and Operations.
- Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills, with the capability to validate outputs and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Well‑developed analytical thinking, capable of identifying root causes and implementing practical solutions.
- Experience supporting finance system implementations (e.g., Workday), including integrations, testing and data migration.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing financial data, reconciliations and system outputs.
- Ability to develop and deliver training materials to support Business‑as‑Usual teams and ensure operational readiness.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical changes into business impacts.
