About the Role
- Level: 1
- Department: COO
- Location: Southampton, United Kingdom
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - Internship
- Contract Length: 24 months
At Quilter, we put our customers at the heart of everything we do. Our two-year Early Careers Programme within the COO division is designed to give you a clear understanding of how Technology, Data & AI, and Change work together to support the full customer service journey. From enhancing digital capabilities and strengthening data driven decision making, to delivering change that improves the customer experience, each rotation exposes you to the areas that underpin Quilter’s operational success.
Throughout the programme, you’ll build practical experience across these three core areas, helping you understand how digital systems, analytics, and organisational change shape how we serve and safeguard our customers, optimise our processes, and evolve as a business.
What you’ll experience
- Technology: Gain hands-on experience with the technology systems and platforms that power our business. You’ll explore digital transformation projects and develop awareness of key areas such as information security and cybercrime prevention.
- Data & AI: Learn how data drives decision making at Quilter. You’ll analyse complex data sets, generate actionable insights, and apply AI enabled tools to support innovation, enhance processes, and influence strategic outcomes.
- Change: Build core skills in delivering effective change. You’ll learn how to plan and support change initiatives, apply business analytics to measure impact, and work with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption across the organisation.
How the Programme Comes Together
As you move through each rotation, you’ll develop a connected understanding of how Technology, Data & AI, and Change shape the customer experience and support Quilter’s operational excellence. You’ll see how digital platforms enable service delivery, how data informs strategic decisions, and how structured change turns ideas into real improvements for customers. By the end of the programme, you’ll have a holistic view of how these functions work in harmony to drive innovation and strengthen Quilter’s long term success.
The role is based in our Southampton office, and there will be some opportunity to work from home. This role is offering a salary of £24,500. Upon successful completion of the programme, you may be offered a position within one of the customer interaction teams.
