About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, motivated distribution team supporting the Northern Sales Director and Northern Business Development Management (BDM) Team.
This role is ideal for a candidate eager to learn and aspiring to grow within the sales team. It offers a career path in Discretionary Investment Management Distribution, with opportunities to learn about the BDM role and potentially progress to a Business Development Manager position, subject to vacancies. Industry qualifications will be required if not already obtained.

Reporting to the Northern Sales Director, the role involves supporting the Northern BDM team with various sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Northern BDM team with information to generate new business opportunities pre and post-sale.
- Assist the Northern Sales Director and have regular catch-ups on progress.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services and their suitability for clients.
- Create and develop communications for advisers identified by the distribution team.
- Gather adviser data from various sources to support panel building and maintenance.
- Coordinate with central functions to support distribution materials, messaging, and information sharing.
- Manage user updates and FE licence access, coordinating with the team for financial advisers.
- Attend team meetings and act on action points.
- Conduct research on topics like adviser data and competitor analysis.
- Monitor industry publications for emerging themes and share insights.
- Arrange adviser meetings/events and support attendance both virtually and physically.
- Follow up on events with data collection and adviser contact.
- Manage and update content on the Distribution Intranet and Training web pages.
- Build relationships with advisers and assist in scheduling meetings.
- Support CRM due diligence processes as needed.
- Collaborate with various departments within Quilter Cheviot.
- Develop a working plan with the Northern Sales Director for sales support needs.
- Manage the adviser prospect list proactively.
- Work towards obtaining an industry Level 4 Diploma.
