We are part of Quilter Financial Planning network who are one of the largest networks in the UK. The IBA brand was founded in 1990, offering a 'one stop shop' for its customers and advisers.
We are currently seeking a skilled Mortgage & Protection Sales Advisor to join our team and assist clients in securing bespoke solutions for their family and/or business. The company's ethos is based around customer service and helping customers find the best Mortgage & Protection products and solutions for them, so it is essential the right candidate has this same mindset. The opportunity supports hybrid working so applicants nationwide will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive Mortgage & Protection advice to a diverse range of clients.
- Assess clients’ financial circumstances to determine suitable Mortgage & Protection products.
- Offer guidance on Protection products related to the Mortgage process, such as life assurance, protecting your income, your family and your home.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Mortgage & Protection market and related financial products.
- Liaise with lenders, providers, estate agents, and solicitors to ensure smooth transactions.
- Prepare and submit detailed Mortgage & Protection applications on behalf of clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Requirements:
- CeMAP qualification.
- Proven experience as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor, and a strong track record in generating new sales and following through to completions.
- Existing client bank to top up leads provided by IBA.
Experience required for the role:
- Strong understanding of the Mortgage & Protection market and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
