Affluent encompasses the financial planning business, Quilter Financial Planning, the Quilter Investment Platform and Quilter Investors, the multi-asset investment solutions business.
High Net Worth includes the discretionary fund management business, Quilter Cheviot, together with Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning.

The Investment Proposition Specialist will support the governance processes of Quilter Financial Planning's restricted investment proposition, through the provision of accurate, timely and insightful analysis and reporting.
Analysis and reporting will evidence that the investment proposition meets the needs of customers and advisers and will identify potential actions to improve customer and adviser outcomes.
The role holder will:
- represent and communicate the Quilter Financial Planning (QFP) restricted investment proposition* to internal stakeholders and financial advisers who are member of the QFP advice network and national. and outline possible career path.
- attend the Adviser Investment Proposition Committee and undertake and present analysis and assessments of investment portfolios that comprise the QFP restricted investment proposition. Assessments will include reviews of investment performance and alignment of the investment portfolios to defined investment risk parameters.
- assist the Advice Investment Solutions Manager in proposing any changes to the restricted investment proposition to improve customer and adviser outcomes.
- be responsible for maintaining a database of in-depth analysis of the investment portfolios that comprise the restricted investment proposition, including comparative analysis to peer groups. The database will be maintained in a format suitable to be accessed by QFP financial advisers.
- be responsible for updating internal tools to reflect changes to the restricted investment proposition.
- engage directly with financial advisers across the QFP network and national businesses to seek feedback on the restricted investment proposition and its component investment portfolios, and to communicate changes to financial advisers.
* The restricted investment proposition is a list of researched and approved investment portfolios (typically multi-asset funds and portfolios) from which QFP network/national advisers can select and recommend to their customers. The investment portfolios must meet a broad range of customer requirements and offer sufficient choice for advisers and customers.
Consumer Duty
Whilst this isn't a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform will contribute to the overall positive outcomes for our customers by ensuring the restricted investment proposition remains aligned with customer's needs.
About You
The candidate must have appropriate experience within an advice or investment focussed role, ideally with (or working towards) a threshold competency qualification such as the CFA Investment Management Certificate and/or the Diploma in Financial Planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- To develop a high level of competence with Financial Express Analytics, Morningstar Direct, and any other tools or software required for the role.
- Sound statistical and analytical skills.
- Good experience across the whole of market advice (protection, mortgage, financial planning and retirement) but particularly in the wealth space.
- Sound understanding of the way in which Financial Advisers operate.
- Ability to establish relationships quickly and communicate effectively.
- Experience working with integrated propositions linking advice tools, products and back-office systems.
