At Quilter, we're transforming how we connect with audiences across digital channels. As consumer behaviour evolves and more people discover information through search engines, social media and AI-powered platforms, high-quality content has never been more important. We're looking for a talented writer to help shape and deliver Quilter's consumer content strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer, journalist or content professional to create compelling and engaging content that helps people make better financial decisions.

Working across Brand, Marketing, Corporate Affairs and our subject matter experts, you'll develop content that informs, educates and engages consumers while supporting Quilter's commercial objectives. You'll support the creation of content across our websites, blogs, articles, third-party publications and multimedia channels, helping ensure Quilter is a trusted and visible source of information wherever audiences are searching for answers.

You will play a key role in evolving our editorial approach, creating content that performs across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. By combining strong storytelling skills with audience insight, data and performance analytics, you'll help drive engagement, improve discoverability and strengthen Quilter's digital presence.

In addition, this role will be required to create compelling, accurate and engaging investment content. Working closely with investment managers, research teams, proposition specialists, compliance and marketing colleagues to translate complex market insights, investment strategies and economic developments into clear, accessible content for a range of audiences. This is a role for someone who is naturally curious, commercially aware and passionate about creating content that delivers measurable impact.

Lead the planning, creation and optimisation of content across Quilter's consumer websites and digital channels. Produce high-quality articles, features, thought leadership, guides and educational content on personal finance, investments, retirement and wealth matters. Develop content for third-party websites, media partnerships and digital platforms to extend reach, build authority and support discoverability. Help shape Quilter's approach to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI-driven search, ensuring content performs effectively in emerging discovery environments. Use audience insight, search data and content performance metrics to identify opportunities and continuously improve results. Work closely with marketing, PR and subject matter experts to develop content that supports brand, engagement and commercial objectives. Develop compelling narratives around investment performance, market developments and economic trends. Support the creation of content across multiple formats, including written articles, video, podcasts, social content and multimedia assets. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing editorial expertise and trusted advice on content strategy and execution. Maintain high editorial, regulatory and brand standards across all content outputs.

Why this role matters

Your work will help consumers access clear, trustworthy financial information while positioning Quilter as a leading voice in wealth management and financial planning. You'll be at the forefront of how financial content is created, discovered and consumed in an increasingly AI-driven world.

About You

You are an exceptional writer with a passion for creating content that informs, engages and inspires action. Whether your background is in journalism, publishing, content marketing or digital media, you know how to identify stories that matter to audiences and turn complex subjects into clear, compelling content. You'll be equally comfortable interviewing subject matter experts, analysing content performance data and writing consumer-facing articles on topics ranging from investing and retirement planning to broader money and lifestyle issues. You understand how audiences discover and consume content online and are excited by the opportunities presented by AI-powered search and discovery platforms. Highly organised and collaborative, you'll be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain high editorial standards in a regulated environment.

  • Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences and channels.
