About the Role

As a Business Quality Assessor your role will be to check cases on a pre‑approval basis and provide constructive feedback to advisers. You will liaise with advisers and paraplanners for any additional re‑work that is required to allow cases to be graded in accordance with our advice standards. You will build and develop relationships with the advisers and firms we do business with supporting them to improve the quality of cases.

To be successful in this role you will need experience of working in a Financial Services environment specifically relating to assessing the suitability of advice as well as a broad understanding of the Pensions & Investments markets in terms of Advice, Providers/lenders, platforms, products, and the way in which advisers within a network are remunerated is advantageous. You will also need a good understanding of the approach in relation to core requirements for an AR firm/Adviser achieving competence, supervision, data protection, anti‑money laundering requirements, Financial Crime Policy, data security and Treating Customers Fairly concepts. A broad knowledge and understanding of Financial Services regulation and the Retail Distribution Review is advantageous.
You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal as interactions with firms and advisers are a key part of the role in providing feedback on cases and coaching, and be Diploma qualified level 4 in Financial Advice. Specific case checking experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
