About The Role

As a Business Quality Assessor, your role is to check cases on a pre-approval basis and provide constructive feedback to advisers. You will liaise with advisers and paraplanners for any additional re-work required to allow cases to be graded in accordance with our advice standards. You will build and develop relationships with the advisers and firms we work with to support and improve the quality of cases.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need experience of working in a Financial Services environment, specifically relating to assessing the suitability of advice, and a broad understanding of the Pensions & Investments markets in terms of Advice, Providers/Lenders, platforms, products, and how advisers within a network are remunerated (advantageous).

You will also need a good understanding of core requirements for an AR firm/Adviser achieving competence, supervision, data protection, anti-money laundering requirements, Financial Crime Policy, data security and Treating Customers Fairly concepts. Broad knowledge of Financial Services regulation and the Retail Distribution Review is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for feedback and coaching with firms and advisers. A Diploma qualified level 4 in Financial Advice is expected. Specific case checking experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Please note: To be eligible to apply for this role, you must already hold a Level 4 Diploma (DipFA) in Financial Advice/Planning. Applications without this qualification cannot be considered.
