To provide holistic, bespoke financial advice to clients for every stage of their lifetime financial journey.

Purpose of the role
To support a financial adviser in providing the highest levels of client service and in growing the business in a strong but sustainable and scalable way. With a view to career progression to Financial Advisor within 6 months to 2 years depending on experience levels.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Assisting a wealth adviser in the client servicing process, including:
    • Booking the client review meetings
    • Preparing the client documentation for before, during and after the client review meeting, including the Progress Check Reports. Ensuring all data has been imported correctly. This includes liaising with providers.
    • Completing all action points from the review and recording appropriately on the relevant IT system in accordance with policy.
  • Creatively identifying opportunities with existing clients within the servicing process
  • Assisting a wealth adviser to onboard clients brought in from another wealth advice firm via a Practice Buy Out (PBO), including:
    • Data cleansing including ensuring correct contact details, policy data is up to date, cash and investment holdings information is up to date and complete etc. This includes liaising with providers.
    • Ensuring the PBO client onboarding process and communications are completed accurately and at the right times
    • Creatively identifying opportunities with these clients for the initial meeting
  • Booking the client meetings
  • Assisting a wealth adviser to grow a client bank, including:
    • Ensuring leads for new clients have been followed up quickly
    • Creatively identifying opportunities with both new and existing clients
  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Support compliance processes by ensuring documentation meets regulatory standards
  • Assist with reporting and general office administration
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with all parties internal and external, professionally and efficiently

The Person

Skills required

  • Organisational skills involving clear setting of outcomes required, timescales and realistic forward and contingency planning
  • Relationship Management skills for both internal stakeholders (inc principal, advisers, paraplanners, administrators) and external stakeholders (inc clients and providers)
  • Personal Development via the Quilter Academy or in house training depending on level 4 qualifications.

Knowledge required/preferred

  • Experience of Xplan and 360 would be an advantage but not essential
  • IT literate in Microsoft Office essential
  • Demonstrable ability to learn new IT systems essential

Qualifications for Financial Advice would be welcome but not essential.
