About the Role

Level – Level 6

Department – Finance

Location – London or Southampton

Contract – Permanent

In this role you will be a key member of the leadership team for one of Quilter’s priority initiatives, namely, to transform how our advice businesses operate. The main goal of this role is to ensure the successful delivery and achievement of target outcomes for a key strategic programme workstream.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Accountable for the ongoing management of the programme adviser engagement strategy. Responsible for leading the interaction and management between the programme and Advisers.
  2. Accountable for delivery against the programme workstream plan in line with agreed budgets and priorities.
  3. Supporting the programme to deliver the targeted business benefits.
  4. Responsible to be a figurehead for the programmes with distribution. Be highly visible both externally and internally in communicating programme vision, changes and delivery.
  5. Responsible to champion advisers’ requirements and promote the benefits to advisers from the programme delivery.
  6. Developing and coaching resources assigned to the project, providing input into performance reviews and support to expand their capabilities and skillset.
  7. Responsible for the definition, design and set up of a revised and optimised strategic advice process for utilisation by QFP and QFA.
  8. Accountable for ensuring that the expected technology capability to be delivered by the programme is maximised in the Advisory processes.
  9. Supporting the other workstreams within ATP ensuring appropriate services and solutions are proposed, planned and delivered in alignment with the defined programme outcomes.
  10. Ensuring programme delivery is aligned to and delivered in accordance with Quilter policy and standards, and Community of Practice guidelines.
  11. Managing programme risks and issues ensuring that they are impact-assessed, mitigated and escalated where appropriate.

About You

You will need strong business acumen, the ability to handle complex environments, and manage senior stakeholders. You should be delivery-focused, make agile decisions, and balance multiple tasks and initiatives within strict deadlines.

Key Skills and Experience

  1. Experience of UK financial advisers and processes.
  2. Extensive technical knowledge of financial planning and investment management products, services, pricing, and value.
  3. Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of inspiring and engaging teams to transform.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and be able to negotiate, build relationships and lead through influence.
  5. Advice qualifications and front office experience.
  6. Product and/or proposition management experience.
  7. Effectively lead multiple projects, ensuring clear progress updates, and quickly handling any risks or issues. It also includes developing the team and managing external consultants and partners.
