In this role, you will support the delivery of Quilterâs financial and regulatory reporting at entity level. You will also be part of the team responsible for delivering Quilterâs capital and liquidity business plans. Youâll collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and work closely with Finance colleagues, gaining exposure to all areas of the Quilter business.
Key responsibilities
- Support the production of regulatory returns to a high standard.
- Support the delivery of monthâend, quarterâend and yearâend reporting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting.
- Support the drafting of component reports for the Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment (ICARA) process.
- Support the annual scenario testing exercise.
- Carry out the annual operational risk calculation.
- Work with complex capital modelling software; maintain strong processes and controls.
- Support the annual business planning process.
- Drive continuous improvements to reporting systems and processes.
- Collaborate with Tax, FP&A, Accounting, and Risk on reporting matters.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent organisation and planning skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change in a complex environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience using actuarial techniques.
- Experience in financial reporting within the UK financial services sector.
- Experience in process improvement.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting under the Investment Firms Prudential Regime.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets.
- Familiarity with Quilterâs reporting systems (e.g., CDM, Workday).
You may be interested in progressing towards actuarial exams, in which case an actuarial study support package will be considered.
