As a Senior Platform Marketing Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for shaping and promoting Quilter's platform proposition. You will define how the platform is positioned to financial advisers and customers, lead high-impact campaigns, and ensure activity is commercially focused, insight-led and aligned to Quilter's growth ambitions. You will operate as the senior marketing lead for the platform, reporting to the Head of Platform and Investment Marketing, and will work closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Distribution and Communications.

Platform Marketing Ownership

  • Own Quilter's platform marketing proposition, ensuring it is clearly differentiated, commercially compelling and aligned to business priorities.
  • Lead the ongoing evolution and positioning of the proposition, informed by market insight, adviser feedback and competitor analysis.
  • Set the marketing response to major tax and regulatory developments impacting platforms, including IHT and estate planning changes, translating complex technical issues into clear, persuasive adviser and paraplanner messaging.
  • Act as a senior marketing lead for the platform, providing clear direction on how the proposition is articulated across audiences and channels.
  • Ensure messaging is accurate, credible and consistent working closely with product, technical, sales and compliance colleagues.

Campaign Development and Execution

  • Lead the design and delivery of major, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Set clear campaign objectives and success measures, ensuring activity drives tangible commercial outcomes.
  • Work with subject-matter experts and the Financial Promotions team to ensure campaigns are accurate, robust and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Use data and insight to evaluate effectiveness, challenging performance and refining approach to inform future activity.
  • Champion best practice across platform campaigns and provide direction and guidance to Marketing Executives supporting delivery.

Digital Presence and Social Media

  • Lead the creation of engaging website and social media content.
  • Partner with Digital and Communications teams to influence channel strategy, content prioritisation and optimisation.
  • Ensure digital activity is insight-led, proposition-focused and aligned with campaign and commercial objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Operate as a senior marketing partner to Distribution, Product, Proposition and Communications teams, influencing decisions and aligning activity to shared goals.
  • Lead cross-functional conversations on platform marketing priorities, managing competing demands and driving clarity.
  • Provide mentorship and day-to-day leadership to Platform Marketing Managers and Marketing Executives, supporting capability development and consistent delivery standards.

Marketing Estate Management

  • Hold senior accountability for the platform marketing estate, ensuring quality, consistency, accuracy and regulatory compliance across all assets.
  • Oversee the development and ongoing optimisation of core platform materials.
  • Proactively identify gaps, duplication or inefficiencies within the estate and drive continuous improvement.

Commercial Focus and Prioritisation

  • Work in close partnership with the Head of Platform and Investment Marketing to ensure platform marketing activity supports the agreed business plan.
  • Apply a strong commercial lens to prioritisation, focusing resources and budget on activity that delivers the greatest impact.
  • Own budget management within remit, ensuring spend is controlled, justified and delivers value.
  • Balance strategic ambition with dependable execution, managing risk, timelines and delivery.

Behavioural Science Mindset

  • Use behavioural science to influence behaviour and improve customer understanding – training and external behavioural science support is available.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in financial services marketing, ideally within platforms or investments.
  • Experience operating in FCA-regulated marketing environments and delivering compliant financial promotions.
  • Proven expertise in planning and executing effective campaigns.
  • A solid understanding of how advisers and paraplanners engage with platform propositions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
