About the Role

As a Data Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering the evolution of Data Enablement and maintaining data quality, integrity, consistency, and timeliness for our business stakeholders. Your main focus will be delivering high quality data operations in an evolving environment applying a continuous improvement mindset, with a key contribution to the pooled operational resource model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data quality checks, exception management, and ongoing data maintenance activities, providing early escalation of risks, issues, and errors.
- Maintain master and reference data, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all systems.
- Perform effective operational query and issue resolution.
- Maintain clear procedure documentation with appropriate controls, contribute to reviewing existing processes, and perform business readiness activities for new processes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Enablement colleagues and the IT development team to facilitate effective integration of enhancements, fixes, and upgrades in respect of EDM & ThinkFolio, including user acceptance testing and business readiness activities.
- Act as an SME for data operations in respect of business change initiatives and approach current processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Support the integration of data related processes from across the wider investment team, ensuring an effective handover through having clear documentation of processes and escalation paths, a full understanding of risks and potential impacts, and ensuring sufficient training.
- Provide early escalation of risks and issues identified on projects and assist with mitigation and resolution through interactions with relevant parties.

- Proven track record in data management and knowledge of operational processes, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Consideration for strong data analysis and processing skills gained within other industries.

- Adaptable and excellent attention to detail to ensure high data accuracy and control.
- Ability to collaborate within the team, projects, and wider operational and investment teams.
- A working knowledge of SQL, Excel, and/or PowerBI, or the capability to upskill in these areas.
- Ability to apply principles you know from one application into others.
- Possible experience in testing and project implementation.
- An understanding of ESG data and its place within the investment management industry.
- Possible industry qualifications such as IMC or IAQ.
- Exposure to applications and datasets commonly used within investment management.
