Due to expansion, Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning is currently looking for employed Financial Planners to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Exeter and the South West. We have built a highly regarded brand and marketing capability together with an advice process that our clients trust. Our Financial Planners are part of our regional teams, providing financial planning advice to private clients with complex needs. Working collaboratively across Quilter’s Wealth Management Division, often in partnership with our Investment Managers, you will offer clients a bespoke financial plan and ongoing service. Our Financial Planners are capable of growing our number of clients, both from referrals and new relationships. We welcome ideas from our Financial Planners, offering support to drive growth through your own innovation.
Consumer Duty
This role is within scope of the Consumer Duty and is expected to comply with Quilter Cheviot Consumer Duty policies and requirements.
About You
You’ll be a successful Financial Planner, focused on managing existing client relationships and service excellence. A self-starter with business development and origination skills to manage the book of clients we will provide. You’ll be comfortable with change, able to navigate rapidly changing environments. You’ll also need a strong level of technical and product knowledge with highly developed compliance and risk skills, as well as the ability to keep up and distil industry developments. You’ll need to be qualified in level 4 standard in Financial Planning as a minimum. Other qualifications, for example, Institute Investment Advice Certificate and other advanced Financial Planning qualifications would be an advantage.
