About the Role
Level:1 | Department: Operations | Location: London(Hybrid) | Contract: Permanent.
We expect the successful candidate to liaise with Investment Managers across the business and with their teams to ensure the smooth opening and amendment of client accounts across a wide range of product families, including General Investment Accounts, ISAs, Bare Trusts, SIPPs, Offshore Bonds, Trusts, Charities, Corporates and QROPS.
Responsibilities
- Check and sign off new accounts, obtaining missing information if required.
- Perform AML and due‑diligence checks on new accounts and accounts changing service.
- Create accurate and correctly structured client records on the CRM system.
- Liaise with Pension and Offshore Bond providers to open and amend accounts where applicable.
- Assist with transfers in and out of client portfolios and liaise with the relevant providers.
- Assist with the administration of deceased client accounts.
- Collaborate with Front Office Investment Management and Operations teams to ensure timely processes and issue resolution.
- Maintain relationships with Front Office Investment Management teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 2‑3years’ experience in a similar role in financial services, preferably with a background in investment management and financial adviser industry.
The candidate should be confident with intermediate Word and Excel, familiar with a CRM system such as the WDX CRM or Figaro, and possess a working knowledge of investment account opening procedures.
Investment Operations Certificate and AML qualifications are preferable but not compulsory.
