About the Role
Position: Business Transformation Lead (Level 4 or 5, depending on experience)
Location: London
Department: Wealth Management Transformation Project
Contract: 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business engagement and act as the primary business representative across all workstreams, communicating the programme vision, priorities, goals and benefits.
- Actively participate in pre‑go‑live activities, business go‑live and post‑go‑live support, including issue triage, escalation, backlog management, stakeholder feedback loops and fast‑follow improvement delivery.
- Discover, plan, communicate and deliver the Digital Servicing project.
- Drive scope prioritisation and facilitate process‑design conversations for phase 2 and subsequent projects, ensuring alignment with business benefits and programme objectives.
- Lead all business and change‑readiness activities: communications, leadership updates, business town‑halls, change‑impact assessments, handover to business‑as‑usual (BAU) and sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
- Manage stakeholder and super‑user engagement across training, testing, rollout and hyper‑care, ensuring effective feedback management and smooth transition into BAU.
- Oversee design management, implementation dependencies, risks, governance forums and third‑party delivery to align design decisions with agreed scope, business needs and programme objectives.
About You
- Proven experience leading complex business transformation, change or programme delivery initiatives within wealth management or broader financial services.
- Strong stakeholder‑management and influencing skills; ability to build credibility, challenge constructively and operate effectively across all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programme‑business decisions, escalation and issue resolution.
- Experience in process design, requirements gathering and delivery execution, with a talent for translating complex concepts into clear, practical business outcomes.
- Leadership capability in ambiguous and fast‑paced environments, including managing readiness, communications, engagement and adoption during change.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative style, with the ability to engage stakeholders, drive super‑user participation and support successful transition into BAU.
- Knowledge of wealth‑management operating models, client journeys and transformation delivery within a regulated financial‑services environment is an advantage.
