The Investment Administrator role is required to assist 2 Investment Managers in providing investment management services to a range of significant private clients with effective and efficient team support and client administration.
- To assist with the administration of regular suitability checks for all clients by preparing fact find forms, suitability letters, diarising meetings, review calls etc.
- To provide clients and/or their agents with information and reports about their portfolio.
- To ensure all client relationships are properly documented on a timely basis, including checking that "Know Your Client" information and data on the CRM system is maintained.
- Ensuring new accounts and amendments to existing client accounts are opened in a timely and accurate manner.
- General client administration:
- Client payments/ administration of deceased account, process and delegate client correspondence/ process ISA subscriptions/ internal and external post/ room booking for meetings inc. welcoming and setting up boardrooms.
- Undertake mail merges when required e.g. for marketing/ events/ Christmas cards etc.
- Preparing reports, correspondence and other relevant documentation including Investment Proposals for client meetings.
- Update databases with revised client details.
- Prepare and submit expenses claims, CPD logs etc. in a timely manner for IMs.
- Answering phones, dealing with queries from clients and intermediaries, taking appropriate messages.
- To carry out any other duties, which might be reasonably requested by your line manager to ensure the smooth running of the client base.
- To ensure all duties and tasks are completed within all relevant rules, compliance regulations and in-house policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you need to be willing to work for and with the team whilst also building up your skills and knowledge with the option for you to undertake professional qualifications. Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). An open and inquisitive mind, willing to learn, debate ideas and contribute. Has the potential, if not the current skills, to make the most of this exciting opportunity. Good operational knowledge of interdepartmental processes. The ideal candidate is a team player, with the ability to prioritise workloads, and has a high attention to detail.
