This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Quilter Cheviot charities team who manage £2.4bn AUM for over 740 clients as at December 2025. We are seeking a highly organised, detail‑oriented RFP Writer to support the growing tender requirements of our Charities business. You would be joining a dynamic and growing team who are passionate about charities and growing the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end creation of tailored RFP/tender responses for charity prospects.
  • Write, edit, and refine content to align with specific investment objectives, ethical considerations, governance requirements, and charity sector nuances.
  • Project‑manage each tender, including timeline control, stakeholder coordination, and meeting submission deadlines.
  • Work closely with charity specialists, investment directors, and business development teams to create each individual tender.
  • Ensure workloads previously undertaken manually by senior specialists are redistributed effectively to restore their business development capacity.
  • Build and maintain a centralised RFP content library, including standard responses, disclosures, team biographies, data sets, and case studies.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, compliance language, and Quilter Cheviot branding.
  • Ensure final submissions are accurate, compliant, visually consistent, and of premium quality.
  • Review RFP processes and identify improvement opportunities, enhancing scalability and efficiency as tender volumes rise.

About You

  • Proven experience in RFP/proposal writing, ideally within financial services, investment management, professional services, or non‑profit sectors.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical investment concepts into clear, easy to understand language.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and document structure.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders at all levels under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and project‑management capabilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple caseloads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of the charity sector is not essential.
