Role Overview:
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role is designed for experienced editors with a strong aptitude for critical thinking and formal logic. You will handle the most complex tiers of data annotation, editing the AI\'s internal \"Chain of Thought\" reasoning to ensure every step in a deduction is valid. You will also serve as a quality benchmark, refining prompts and responses to meet the highest standards of clarity, logical consistency, and linguistic precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and refine complex AI responses involving multi-step logical reasoning, math, or coding logic to ensure the path to the solution is flawless.
• Review high-priority \"gold standard\" datasets to ensure they are free of logical fallacies, contradictions, or ambiguity.
• Diagnose model failures in reasoning tasks (e.g., riddles, syllogisms, data analysis) and rewrite the \"thought process\" to teach the model the correct derivation.
• Act as a final quality gate for style and tone, ensuring the model maintains an authoritative yet accessible voice even when explaining dense technical concepts.
• Collaborate on the creation of advanced style guides and training materials for junior writers/annotators.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Senior Editor, Technical Editor, or Lead Writer role (5+ years preferred).
• Strong academic or professional background in fields requiring rigorous logic, such as Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• Exceptional command of English with the ability to edit for both grammatical perfection and logical flow.
• Ability to deconstruct complex arguments and identify subtle errors in reasoning (e.g., circular reasoning, non-sequiturs).
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate:
  Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
• Flexibility:
  100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
