£45,000 to £55,000, plus up to £5,100 bonus each year

Quietroom is an insight-led communications consultancy. We’re here to make pensions, investment and insurance accessible to the people who need them. Our clients include pension schemes and providers, as well as asset managers, insurers and advisers.
We\’re looking for an in-house designer to work with some of the biggest names in financial services. You\’ll take ownership of our brand and be responsible for driving the growth of our design function.
What you’ll do
In this job you will:
- design print and online materials, such as newsletters, brochures and emails
- create wireframes and clickable prototypes
- own and develop our brand, both online and internally across our templates
- oversee and build our network of freelance designers
- produce social-media assets for Quietroom’s marketing
You can work from home or at our office on High Holborn as it suits you. But you must be available for in-person client meetings, and company away days every 3 months.
Who you are
You might be an experienced graphic designer with a growing portfolio of UI work or a UI designer who is happy to work in print as needed.
You’re probably at the point in your career where you’ve got lots of experience and are looking to take on a leadership role. We’re a growing business and our design function is growing too. We’re looking for the right person to drive that growth and take us to the next level.
We\’re interested in people who can:
- make complex products and services easy to understand and accessible
- use analytics, user feedback and research to make decisions about design
- spot process problems and fix them
- safeguard high-quality content through the review process, winning over stakeholders as you do it
