About the Opportunity
Our Client is a recognised leader in the medical device sector, with over 160 years of clinical and commercial heritage. Committed to improving lives through continuous innovation, they provide high-quality compression therapy solutions that support patients and clinicians alike.
They are now seeking a dynamic, experienced Regional Business Manager to oversee their Southern UK operations. This role is a blend of Player / Coach with leadership, coaching, and hands-on sales with strategic market development. Youβll lead a team of three Business Development Managers and report directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management β Oversee sales, customer relations, and training in the allocated region.
- Team Leadership β Inspire and support a team of Business Development Managers to exceed their targets and maintain alignment with business values.
- Coaching & Development β Mentor team members to improve capabilities and drive performance.
- Strategic Execution β Implement regional business strategies to deliver growth and achieve KPIs.
- Market Insights β Monitor trends and competitor activity to guide tactical adjustments.
- Client Engagement β Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders.
- Compliance & Governance β Ensure full adherence to industry and company standards.
- Escalations β Handle complex customer queries and concerns professionally and promptly.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record in a Regional Manager or comparable leadership role.
- At least 3 yearsβ experience in compression therapy or a similar medical device market.
- In-depth understanding of the NHS and private healthcare environments.
- Strong experience managing teams with varied backgrounds and skill levels.
- Knowledge of NHS supply chains, tenders, and formularies.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
