An exciting job role has recently become available at Newcastle. They are looking for a new member for their Adults Social Care team. Preferably with some experience of Learning Disability / Autism, knowledge of mental capacity work, and Court of Protection.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A qualification in Social Work at degree level
- Post-qualified experience
Responsibilities:
- Experience of Learning Disability / Autism
- Knowledge of mental capacity work and Court of Protection
- Strong assessment, planning, evaluation, and report writing skills
- Commitment to promoting rights of people with learning disabilities/autism
- Effective liaison and partnership working with service users, carers, and professionals
