An exciting job role has recently become available at Newcastle. They are looking for a new member for their Adults Social Care team. Preferably with some experience of Learning Disability / Autism, knowledge of mental capacity work, and Court of Protection.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A qualification in Social Work at degree level
  • Post-qualified experience

Responsibilities:

  • Experience of Learning Disability / Autism
  • Knowledge of mental capacity work and Court of Protection
  • Strong assessment, planning, evaluation, and report writing skills
  • Commitment to promoting rights of people with learning disabilities/autism
  • Effective liaison and partnership working with service users, carers, and professionals
