Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for two Advanced Practitioner positions to join its client’s Long-Term Team based in Newcastle. This flexible, hybrid role offers experienced social workers the opportunity to lead complex cases, deliver high-quality, relationship-based practice, and mentor colleagues. The successful candidates will contribute to statutory services, receive regular supervision, and help foster a collaborative team culture that supports children, young people, and their families.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Lead on complex cases and provide expert guidance to colleagues.
- Deliver statutory social work services in line with legislation and council procedures.
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews, ensuring the child’s voice is central to decision-making.
- Support families to achieve stability and positive outcomes through effective interventions.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.
- Maintain accurate case records and reports to professional standards.
- Participate in reflective supervision and contribute to service development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
- Significant post-qualified experience, ideally in long-term child protection work
