Knowsley Council is seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead our Children Looked After team. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality services to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Children Looked After team, providing guidance and support to social workers and other staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of effective and efficient services that meet the needs of children in care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery and outcomes for children.
  • Monitor and evaluate the team's performance to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.

Requirements:
