Are you a people-focused leader with a passion for operational excellence and workplace culture? We’re looking for an experienced Site Operations Lead on behalf of our client, a leading global manufacturing organisation who will be responsible for ensuring the site runs smoothly, safely, and sustainably. This role will be offered on a part-time, temporary basis – 2 days per week for a 9 to 10 month fixed term contract and will be based at my client’s site in West Sussex.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and inspiring teams across facilities, communications, reception, catering, and health & safety.
- Overseeing site-wide projects, from maintenance and refurbishment to sustainability initiatives.
- Championing employee engagement, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging across the centre.
- Managing site budgets, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Building strong relationships with local partners, educational institutions, and community organisations.
- Hosting key visitors, events, and global leadership meetings.
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience managing complex, multi-functional sites or business operations.
- A track record of turning strategy into action – delivering projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for creating positive workplace culture.
