Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its client’s Initial Assessment Team based in Tower Hamlets. We are seeking a qualified professional to join the Adult Social Care Initial Assessment Team, working at the front door of adult services. In this role, you will support adult residents who are not currently receiving statutory services by managing a varied caseload and conducting both functional and Care Act assessments within the community.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Visit clients in the community to complete strength-based OT assessments
  • Focus on bathing, manual handling, and equipment provision
  • Refer major adaptations to long-term teams
  • Work within a fast-paced, supportive team of 10 OTs, including two OT managers
  • Receive supervision from a Senior OT line manager

Qualifications & Experience:

  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in community-based OT work
  • Strong understanding of the Care Act and relevant legislation
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills
