A council is looking for Advanced Practitioners to join their older persons team. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality statutory social care, recognising safeguarding, and developing innovative, creative community solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality statutory social care, including safeguarding, assessment, supervision, and care management functions, as well as developing innovative community solutions. Advanced Practitioners are pivotal in developing links with the local community through multi-agency work with partner organisations, providers, professionals, individuals, families, and carers. You will ensure that all statutory health and social care responsibilities are met and delivered to a high standard. Your role will be essential in maintaining the well-being and safety of the community.

Qualifications & Experience:
- To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified social worker or occupational therapist with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience.
- In addition, you also need to actively be in any of the specialist roles, such as Moving and Handling Practitioner, Practice Educator, Approved Mental Health Practitioner, or Best Interest Assessor, or agree to undertake a specialist role within the first year of the role.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to your own reliable transport.
