Pay Rate: £41.12 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Contract: 3 months, likely to be extended on to 6+ months

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Court Social Worker to join their client's dynamic Children’s Services team located at North Wales. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering high-quality assessments and care planning for children subject to care proceedings, with additional responsibilities relating to adoption planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete robust and timely assessments of children and their families to inform final care planning and permanency decisions.
  • Prepare and present clear, evidence-based reports for court, and provide confident, professional evidence in legal proceedings.
  • Work within the Public Law Outline (PLO) and adhere to the 26-week timeframe for care proceedings.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, guardians, and multi-agency professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Contribute to adoption planning, including matching and transition work where appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience working within the Court arena, including giving evidence and managing complex care proceedings.
  • Strong understanding of the PLO process, statutory frameworks, and permanency planning.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
