About the Role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to assess individuals receiving care packages, ensuring high-quality OT interventions that promote safe and independent living at home. If you have expertise in single-handed care, moving and handling, and experience with older adults and individuals with mental health or physical disabilities, then we'd love to hear from you!
What will your responsibilities be?
- Conduct assessments to develop tailored OT interventions that support independent living.
- Review and adjust care packages to ensure they meet individuals' needs effectively.
- Facilitate smooth hospital discharges by implementing appropriate care solutions.
- Provide expert advice on single-handed care and moving and handling techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards.
Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals, promoting their independence, and ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, a degree in Occupational Therapy is essential. You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), have the legal right to work in the UK and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with older adults and individuals with mental health or physical disabilities. Strong decision-making skills are crucial, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with service users and colleagues. Additionally, you should have the ability to explain interventions clearly and empower individuals with confidence.
