Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a therapeutically informed environment, supporting young people/adults by using guidance from psychological consultation, training, and supervision.
- Implement low-level psychological interventions modelled by the psychologist, helping residents develop emotional regulation, coping strategies, and positive daily routines.
- Contribute to psychologically informed care planning, observing and communicating residents’ needs and progress to ensure support is aligned with therapeutic recommendations.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and empowering living environment, using relationship-based practice and understanding individuals’ perceptions of difficulty in line with the service’s therapeutic model.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and group work, encouraging participation, social development, and a sense of wellbeing within the residential setting.
