Our client is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background in working with adults with long-term conditions. The successful candidate will have experience of supporting adults with long-term conditions, ensuring their care needs are met. Responsibilities include:
- Handling Court of Protection cases, ensuring legal compliance and advocacy.
- Conducting safeguarding duties to protect adults from abuse or neglect.
- Working with self-neglecting adults, providing interventions.
- Undertaking Care Act Assessments and Reviews to address care needs.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional Qualification: A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
- Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England.
- Experience: Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs.
- Knowledge of Legislation: Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Skills: Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a car are often required for client visits.
