Main Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely in compliance with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Plan efficient routes and keep to delivery schedules.
  • Complete all delivery documentation and scanning accurately.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects to the Transport Manager.
  • Lift and manoeuvre finished products onto carts for despatch.
  • Scan and safely store windows and doors.
  • Load goods securely onto delivery vehicles.
  • Assist trade customers with collections when needed.
  • Locate items using internal computer systems.
  • Handle glass products with care and in line with H&S procedures.

We’re looking for a Class 2 Relief Driver/Loader to join our team in a varied, hands‑on role where no two weeks are the same. You’ll split your time between supporting the loading operation, making sure vehicles are prepared safely and efficiently, and completing multi‑drop deliveries across the UK in an 18T curtain sider, 18T box rigid or 3.5T van, including nights away when required.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly, ensuring our premium products are delivered safely, on time and in perfect condition, while representing the business out on the road with professionalism and pride.

The Necessary Skills, Qualifications And Experience Include

  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and commercial driving experience.
  • Confident handling large vehicles, including loading and securing cargo.
  • Excellent timekeeping, route planning, and delivery management skills.
  • Ability to adapt between warehouse and driving duties as needed.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy loads.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and health & safety awareness.
