- Description
Reporting to our Commercial Director, you'll lead our Transport Planning, Loading and Driver teams, making sure every product leaves our site safely, efficiently and ready to meet the high standards our customers have come to expect from Quickslide.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk.
We're looking for a visible leader who enjoys being out in the operation, getting to know the people, understanding the challenges and rolling up their sleeves to make things better.
At the same time, this role is about much more than managing vehicles and planning routes.
It combines operational leadership with commercial thinking, using data, systems and experience to make better decisions for our customers, our people and the wider business.
You'll use performance data, KPIs and operational insight to identify opportunities, solve root causes and build an operation that's stronger tomorrow than it is today.
This is a role that balances today's priorities with tomorrow's opportunities.
You'll lead the day-to-day operation while continually looking for ways to improve how we work, develop your team and strengthen the service we provide.
We're looking for an experienced operational leader who enjoys developing people, improving performance and finding better ways of working.
You'll be just as comfortable building relationships with drivers and loaders as you are analysing performance data or presenting ideas to senior management.
If you're ready to make an impact and help shape the future of how we deliver for our customers, we'd love to hear from you.
The Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience include
- Experience leading transport, logistics or operational teams within manufacturing, distribution or a similar fast-paced environment.
